You can choose whether you'd like the students to attend 3 hour lessons in the morning and arrange your own activities in the afternoon, or your students do not attend lessons and your schoold trip cultural with many things to do and to discover,... the decision is yours.

Sample Itinerary

The Route of the Castilian Language

One week program for school groups and their language teachers.

Homestay offers a great opportunity for the student to not only

discover and immerse him-/herself in the language but also to learn

about the real way of life of a Spanish family.

Day 1: Madrid (Barajas Airport) – S.Millan de la Cogolla – Sto. Domingo de Silos

Arrival to Barajas Airport. Meet with your courier. Morning arrival flights allow a visit of San Millan de la Cogolla or Santo Domingo de Silos on the way to Burgos. Dinner & overnight stay at Ezcaray Youth Hostel.

Day 2: S. Millan de la Cogolla – Sto. Domingo de Silos – Valladolid – Tordessillas – Salamanca

After breakfast, either visit San Millan de la Cogolla or Santo Domingo de Silos, then continue to Valladolid. Packed lunch. Guided visit of Valladolid. Drive to Salamanco through Tordesillas. At arrival in Salamanca, meet your local co-ordinator and students will then be allocated their host families.

Dinner at your host family.

Day 3: Salamanca

Guided tour of Salamanca

Lunch with host family

Free afternoon

Day 4: Salamanca – Alba de Tormes  - Salamanca

Breakfast.

Half day excursion to Alba de Tormes.

Return to Salamanca.

Lunch with host family.

Day 5: Salamanca – Avila – El Escorial – Alcala de Henars

Breakfast

Say farewell to your host family.

Drive to Avila

Guided visit of Avila.

Lunch – packed lunch provided by host family.

Drive to El Escorial, where you have a guided visit of the Monastery.

Drive to Alcala.

Dinner at host family in Alcala.

Day 6: - Alacala de Henares

Day 7: Alaca de Henares - Madrid

Drive to Barajas Airport.
