About Us

Formed in 2003, Castilla y León Group is a London based partnership of Esther Sahagun and Gerda Brenner, who share their passion of, and spending much time in, that particular region of Spain. Over many years we have built a reputation of offering a wide range of excellent Spanish language courses in Spain and more recent also in Latin America. All schools that we represent are hand picked with the majority being small and independently run.

Who we are

Esther Sahagun: Esther (BA Hons. ), an established Language Consultant (notably for the BBC London) with her own language school in London Lingua Diversa Group. Esther is currently teaching A-Level and DELE courses at the London City Lit and many corporate businesses in London, such as the Bank of England, Stat Oil, IBM, Clifford Chance and Morgan Stanley have benefited by Esther's teaching. Recently Esther took part in the new Spanish online Course of the BBC 'Mi Vida Loca' that give you the opportunity to learn spanish for FREE.

Gerda Brenner: Gerda's background is in sales and marketing. A bundle of energy Gerda has been the engine behind Castilla y León Group and from 2008 has turned her passion and hobby into her main full time occupation.

Our aim

The aim of Castilla y León Group is to share with you its natural beauty, gastronomic diversity, fiestas, villages, traditions and religiosity and its linguistic purity (Castellano). You are invited to follow the links to get inspired to visit this still unspoiled part of Spain. And those of you who wish to take a language course in other parts of Spain or Latin America don't come short either.
