About Us

Founded in 2003, Castilla y León Group is a London based partnership of Esther Sahagun and Gerda Brenner, who share their passion of that beautiful Spanish region. Over the years Esther and Gerda have built a reputation of offering an excellent range of Spanish language courses in Spain and Latin America.

Who we are

Esther Sahagun (BA Hons.) is an established Language Consultant (notably for the BBC London) with her own language school in London Lingua Diversa Group. Apart from that Esther is preparing students for A-Level and DELE exams at the London City Lit and has taught many corporate language students (i.e.at the Bank of England, Stat Oil, IBM, Clifford Chance and Morgan Stanley, etc.) in the past. More recently Esther took part in the new BBC Spanish online Course 'Mi Vida Loca' which gives you the opportunity to learn spanish for FREE.

Gerda Brenner: Gerda's varied background ranges from working at the Austrian Trade Commission, launching Austrian products to the UK market to being an Area Manager for a large European Food Manufacturer.  Since 2008 Gerda has been working as a freelance German Language Teacher whilst keeping busy with organising language courses in Spain, Latin America and England.

Our aim
